The in-person conference will take place from 18–20 May 2027. The afternoon of 18 May will include a special Methods Festival for delegates with member tickets.
The Festival of the Unexpected will take place online for one day during the week before the conference. The date will be confirmed soon.
For the first time in four years, we are bringing the conference back to London. Evaluation Frontiers and Futures will take place at the London Stadium, with full travel and accessibility information shared closer to the event.
There will also be an online day the week before the in person event (date tbc)
The Methods Festival is a dedicated in-person afternoon of practical and interactive sessions exploring evaluation methods, approaches and practice.
It builds on the popularity of our 2026 member workshops and will take place in-person on the afternoon 18 May 2027. The Methods Festival is included for delegates with a member ticket.
The Festival of the Unexpected is a one-day online event sharing open and honest reflections on evaluations that did not quite go to plan, surprising findings and experiences that are not always shared, but often offer valuable insights into how we adapt and improve.
Previously held during conference week, the online day is moving to the week before to give its ideas more time to feed into conference discussions.
Access to Festival of the Unexpected is included with every full conference ticket, for members and non-members. The date will be confirmed soon.
The London Stadium is in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and is well connected by public transport. The nearest major stations are Stratford and Stratford International, with several Underground, Overground, Elizabeth line, DLR and National Rail connections.
